I love it! (4.5 Stars - Goodreads star rating)

Jennifer E. Smith never disappoints. I just finished TGOYAM and then immediately dove into this baby. I love how the whole book revolved around one night only. It was crazy how she wrote a whole book based on one night. There's a lot I love about this book and I'm not sure I'll be able to talk about all of it here.

Let's start with the characters. Clare. Well, Clare was a bit annoying at some parts. She was this sort of uptight kind of girl. She wanted to plan everything and she just didn't do spontaneous. Her wanting to break up was really getting into my nerves but what can we do? That's just her. And honestly, her reasons were correct, too. She explained it well in the book and that's enough for me to understand her.

Aidan, on the other hand, was really fun. He was very sweet and fun to be with. He's seriously boyfriend material. There were times in the book when I really felt bad for him because he clearly wanted to stay with Clare, but Clare made him understand. Aidan was super sweet. I don't know any other word for him. He's the type of guy you'd want to be with. I would want to be with him. Seriously.

I loved their friendship with Stella and Scotty. You can easily tell that they've been friends for a really long time. There was just this connection that you'd feel while reading. I love "Stella and Clare" moments in the book. They were heartwarming and I wish to have a Stella in my life.

I don't remember something that I don't particularly like about the book but I just can't seem to give it 5 whole stars. I love the whole idea of reliving the moments, especially their big ones. It was really adorable seeing them go around town, talking about how they met and their firsts. For me, that's always an adorable thing to do as a couple.

My most favorite part was when they were in Scotty's place. It was simple and relaxing. There weren't pressure enough and they were all just having fun. The scene in Aidan's place toward the end was heartbreaking. I loved it but it just split my heart open. It was clear that Aidan got the idea pretty clearly. Their opinions changed. And as it happened, I just wanted to hug Clare and smack her at the same time for even suggesting breaking up in the first place.

The thing with Clare not saying "I love you" to Aidan kind of irritated me. Seriously. Who does that? I mean, you're just supposed to say it back when your boyfriend/girlfriend says it to you! Right? Especially when you know you love him/her. Actions just doesn't justify it. It doesn't equal to when you actually say it. Of course, actions mean a lot, but you should say it and act like it! So it really bothered me that she didn't want to say it. But then, we she actually said it, it was really heartwarming and special. It made the whole moment really special and so when the scene in Aidan's place was up, I just couldn't help feeling bad for her.

The ending. Oh God, that ending. It was painful! The last chapter, I was feeling so down, I just wanted to go home and lie on my bed as I read. But provided I couldn't leave work, I just choked it up. I felt really bad and no one was talking to me. The last chapter was so hard to read as they were saying goodbye to each other. I wanted to just put it down because I didn't wanna feel worse! And while I was thinking that it could not get any worse, IT WENT WORSE IN THE PROLOGUE!

I NEED THAT NOVELLA. PLEASE!!!
