Mitch Albom was an author I discovered when I was in high school when I read The Five People You Meet in Heaven. After I read that I moved onto his other books reading Tuesdays with Morrie and For One More Day (my favorite). Ever since then I read whatever he comes out with! I love his style of writing, it is captivating and makes you want to never put that book down!

Nora Roberts! She was my introduction into romance novels when I had previously been into mystery crime thrillers. Now I usually prefer a good mix of the two!

Tamora Pierce. Y mom brought her books home one day and I totally judged the book by it's cover. I thought "oh, this book doesn't look sophisticated enough for me". I was in high school then and thought I knew everything. When I finally gave her books a chance I fell in love. I have reread them so many times the spines are breaking and when I say "Them" I am talking about every book she has ever written.

Probably Khaled Hosseini. I read "A Thousand Splendid Suns" and then had to read his others! I think "The Kite Runner" is my favorite.

I also love AM Holmes, author of "May We Be Forgiven"

The Nancy Drew series was my first complete series. As an adult I have read all of Stephen King, Nicholas Sparks, and Philippa Gregory.

I was never so much focused on authors as I was with the stories themselves. As a kid I did fall for RL Stine's works, along with the Dear America series, that are wrote by various authors.

Ad an adult I fell in love with Chuck Palahniuk and have had to read all of his works!

J. R. Rain. Once I started reading the Vampire for Hire series and couldn't put it down, I went all out and bought every book in whatever series available. Ever since then, which was about three and a half years ago, I've been a series junky!

Jane Austen. She's been my favorite author since I was young. I do not typically like adapted books but I haven enjoyed reading the board books (Pride and Prejudice especially) with my baby daughter.

I love James Patterson and have read most of his series: Alex Cross, Women's Murder Club, Michael Bennett, Witch and Wizard, etc. He is an amazing author that I cannot put down!

Cora Brent and Deborah Bladon are just two off the top of my head. But I have all of their books, I think I'm even on an email list for both...haha :lol2:

I'm not really sure, because I started the trend of sticking with authors and series pretty early on. It was probably the Nancy Drew series when I was about 8 years old. Once I was in high school, I went through a Danielle Steele and VC Andrews phase, and probably read everything that they had written up until that point.

I obsessively collected every Nancy Drew book when I was a little girl.

As a young adult, probably Anne McCaffrey? It's hard to remember.

In high school, I wanted to read everything by Lurlene McDaniel. I bought a lot of her books. Everytime I went to the bookstore I would buy a new one.
