Debbie Macomber - I am a huge romance book person - I know it's "common", but I am a weepy person and I like happy endings over sad ones and romance novels have that. I love a good Nicholas Spark's book, but they always make me cry...

oooh! Great question! Being as Nora Roberts is one of my favorite authors, I would love to sit back and have a beer with her! She has written so many books its hard to keep track! Every book of hers that I have read is so much more different then the last. When it comes to romance novels, it is hard to find one that is different from others, but somehow she makes it work!
Another of my favorite authors is J.K. Rowling, the writer of Harry Potter. I would love to have a beer with her!! I bet she is super funny too. Her books are really creative! :techie-studyingbrown:

Well, this month I read Confessions of an economic hit man by John Perkins and learnt new things about how the current neoliberal system works. So I would definitely invite John Perkins for a drink.

Pierce Anthony, because he is so witty in his books that I would love to find out how he truly is! Or Ayn Rand, Because she is...well Ayn Rand. I mean, how could I not want to pick her brain.
