Since Lincoln was my favorite president, this book was interesting and thought provoking. This historical fiction novel is well written and clearly depicts life in the Washington area at the time of Lincoln's assissination. The viewpoint of various characters are explored which keeps the book interesting. I would recommend this book to those that like historical fiction or those that are curious about John Wilkes Booth.
