Oh, yes! Me, too! It's a good idea for a tv show.

Been a fun journey as a first time author. Loved the constructive criticism from the review that allowed me to make improvements on the latest version. I have been very surprised by the different demographics that enjoyed it. I assumed it might be enjoyed by military folks since that's where the main character background was, and it has, but didn't anticipate some of the others.

It was also fun to try and find a way to include some of my real life into the narrative. Sitting next to Bishop Fulton Sheen on a plane to Florida, and explaining to him Christianity through the eyes of a 6 year old Lutheran really happened, as did my encounters with the legendary "Admiral" , so was fun weaving them and many others into a story line, and the building on it. I felt really great when my next youngest brother said to me "Did this really happen or did you make up this part, I can't tell"

I was especially pleased that women seemed to enjoy the story line as much as men do, and women seem to see some of what I consider the hidden personality nuances of the main character (and his best friend) that some men miss, while men seem different angles of the main character, and different details and reads of the story line.

Another great part (as far as an author) was that the book generated quite a few "what ifs" and "I was just wondering" questions with readers that made me look deeper and connect more of the back story dots. I found that totally fascinating as I felt I knew every personal subtlety whether in print or not about all the characters, and guess what I didn't.

It seems that the author wrote from personal experience on a submarine, which had to bring both detail and authenticity to this part of the story. I know that as a reader, I can tell if the writer has lived or felt the part of the story he is telling. Congratulations to the first-time author for bringing the project to conclusion and getting his work out there! The review and interchange in this forum has made me become interested in the book.

Boy that was a nice surprise, got a 5 star review on Amazon from a reviewer with some extra titles after his name
(HALL OF FAME TOP 100 REVIEWER VINE VOICE )
Just so nice when people enjoy your work, and happy that I've been tweaking the book a bit to make it a better read

Anyone know what they mean?, I would figure top 100 is that he reviews a lot of material, but not real sure on others

It def was made better by your review, and your suggestions. That really is the beauty of writing a ebook. You can change and modify it until you get it right. Thanks again
