As I mentioned in another post, without the thoughtful reviews I would probably have passed on this one. The cover seems to imply a completely different book, and though it's wrong to judge on cover alone, there are so many books that immediately catch my attention that some get lost in the choosing process.
Congrats to both reviewers and the author for having Miami Iced chosen as BOTD. I will definitely be checking this one out!

Thanks Mile_Lang! The book is one of the best review books I've read since joined this site. However, I do agree with you that the cover doesn't match the story! It seems more suited to a sci-fi book.Mike_Lang wrote:Great review, as always. I read another review on the same book by another member, two different perspectives with more or less the same result.

I hope I wasn't too petty about the location discrepancies I noticed. They are minor issues in an otherwise wonderful book.

Thanks for the kind words.taradeberry69 wrote:Hello Bookowlie, I enjoyed your review and it made me want to read the book. I'm new to the online book club, and this is the first review I have read in the club. It seem like you have a lot of experience in writing reviews or just writing period, you used some good words to express the book and I will be reading this book. Thanks!
