War Horse by Michael Morpurgo

Post by Mariah B »

War Horse was an exceptional book. From smiles to tears, I was anxious to keep reading. Morpurgo captured me with this novel. The novel read from the perspective of the horse, Joey. It was so beautiful, heartfelt, and emotional. The war stories were fearful but courageous. An incredibly touching book. I have nothing but good things to say about this novel. It was raw and real, and I loved it. Amazing book, I highly recommend it, but remember to grab the tissues.

I loved this book too, and the movie as well. It's very emotional and sad in places, but still a great story and it made me think about how humans even drag animals into our wars. So it's food for thought as well.
