I was intrigued after reading a little bit of the book, but your review made me want to go back and read more now. I appreciate your warning about the all-too-real parts of the story, it is not something I would recommend to my daughter. Thank you.

Thank you for your good review. Even though I downloaded the book and read the first ten pages, I am not too sure yet, if I will read all of the book. Violence often gives me nightmares, so I am glad you forewarned me with you review.

Great review! I'm definitely adding this book to my "Want to Read" shelf!! I like detective/mystery/crime books because they keep me guessing and on the edge of my seat! Also, I teach Spanish so I'm excited to see how the author uses the language and setting of Mexico to keep her readers engaged and feeling like they are face to face with the characters! Congrats on BOTD! I'm really looking forward to reading this book!! Thx!

I don't know J. D. Robbs work but after the review and reading a small part of the book I might even be interested in read both author's works. I usually stick to fantasy and SiFi, but so far I have found the story intriguing. With the interesting flavors and hints at further twists to the story and the heightened excitement promised in the review I may have to step out of my normal genre.

I love the sound of this book! Definitely awesome seeing some culture diversity in today's book, and add on all of the other stuff going on, it sounds like the ultimate novel that I would totally enjoy! Thanks for the lovely review!
