Pencil or pen?

I am left-handed. Inevitably I will either get ink or lead all over the side of my hand. I use pencils when I have ideas I want to get out of my head. I use pen when I want to do a final print. I use sharpies as my medium for art.

I prefer to write in pen but I constantly scratch out things, sometimes entire pages, and where I would erase sentences, I leave black marks and it can be really difficult to make sense of things when I go back to reread. However, I still write in pen.

Definitely pencil! I mess up way too much to be able to write in pen. Although I will admit that writing in pen is much more fun and makes even my atrocious handwriting look ten times better!

I typically prefer pencil--I like the texture, and I like being able to erase mistakes. However, when I'm writing in my journal, I use a pen because I think it will stay more visible longer.

I like pencil, therefore i like to nix my mistakes and write anew when I'm drafting.

For notes in books, there's nothing like pen. Pencil smudges in the pages, so I'm not quite fond of that.

However, there's nothing quite like a good felt tip pen on paper- the little things in life.

I HATE pencil! There's just something about them that make me cringe when I try writing with them. Ink is so smooth and looks so much neater. I honestly think it even looks neater to scribble out the mistake than rewrite over an erased spot.

Generally, I prefer a pen. I like colours, I like having a stronger contrast with the paper (whatever colour paper it might be). I tend to like stationary of all kinds though, truth be told.

I prefer very ordinary pen to set down any thing useful , it gives me more comfort in my work.

Even though I always make writing mistakes, I still prefer to write in pen. I just have scribbles all over my essays and stories.

I absolutely have to write with a pencil. Erasable pens aren't even good enough. I need a pencil to write so if I make any mistakes, I can easily erase them. Also for some reason, I feel more comfortable writing with pencils than I do pens.

I prefer using the pencil to pen. you can easily erase a mistake made by pencil. A pen makes work incredibly untidy when erasing

Pencils can be messy, especially if you are left-handed. I like pens better as I like to see the black ink go smoothly as I write. If I make a mistake, I just cross that out.
