Not really crazy about combat stories, I do enjoy Historical Romance War stories, I'm not sure I would read this, but I admit, it does sound interesting, even to me. Review is very well written!

Thank you for the review, My most enjoyable thing in an action story are the combat scenes so that's a valid point for me, one thing I must say though is that the fact that the author made some gramatical errors is enough to take at least one star of 4 on my opinion.

There aren't a lot of thrillers set in Mali (along with the host of other places you mention), so this makes this action/adventure unique. There also seem to be a wide range of villains, keeping the suspense going. Nice review, but I am not sure about reading a whole book in PDF format. Kudos to you on that count.

I have read the first few chapters and it seemed interesting. I was pleased the review let me know the book wasn't for those of us who don't like reading lots of combat. Do love exotic locations, though.

I read the sample and to be honest it's just not type of book. I don't usually go for combat/action/adventure books set in international places. If you like that type of story then this is a great book for you. Also to be honest, without reading the description to the book before hand I read the first few pages thinking the MC was female. I eventually went back to read the description when I got confused....oops! ?

I like the preview of The Medinandi License because it concerns corruption in foreign countries, and these kind of novels tend to be sweaty yet cumbersome. I enjoy reading these novels especially at night. I enjoy the fact that your review reflects on the enjoyment factor of the book, yet it isn't so revealing, it doesn't ruin revealing too much. I am reading The Medinandi License very soon.

I'm not very big into combat, intense fighting books, so perhaps this isn't for me. But, I love how the author keeps the reader engaged by the plot's intensity and it's different location (I haven't read many books set in Africa)! Great review and I'm you enjoyed the book! Congratulations to the author for receiving such a positive review!
