Great Review!! I was really impressed with how clearly you outlined the theme and mood of the book. I am always interested in reading good non-fiction, but it can be hard to decide which ones will be worth my time! Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review. Very helpful!!

Thank you anonanemone! Sorry for the delayed reply. There are a number of processes and techniques that are simple, yet powerfully effective. For me, it was a matter of reframing the way I looked at issues. Once we learn to view events just as they are, without labels and judgements, we can be free of the bind that holds us to the emotional charge. Thanks again for your comments!

I think this is an intriguing book. Kudos for the author in wanting to spread his story of hope to others. My only reservation is that, although these ideas are helpful, positive, etc., I am not convinced (experientially) that they will "work" for everyone. I feel that for some, there truly is an imbalance of chemicals or hormones or something hindering that person from truly being able to choose.

Very good review. I did get an insight what is the book about and I think I may like it. I read similar books before and advices in them seemed well but I always followed the advices only for a short time. Maybe this book changes it.

I was glad to see a self-help book make the grade for book of the day. Excellent review. I did read the preview and chose to download the book based on that. Your review shows many of the aspects of what the author has to share with his readers. Well written. Based on your review, I would have purchased this book.

Thank you for the review. The event was traumatic but he did not get consumed by such negative experience. Instead, he took advantage of the reverse effect of that sad situation as he grew up and conscientiously learned from it. This makes the book an excellent reading material not only for the fun of reading but for personal growth.

Great, thorough review. I admire the author for overcoming the tragedy of his father's suicide and using his experiences to give people the tools to live a positive and meaningful life. I like that you mentioned the terms in the book are easy to understand since self-improvement books can sometimes get overly technical. Congrats to the author for having the Book of the Day!

A fantastic review! I like that the author made complex psychology theory so accessible and easy to utilize! The first worksheet you mentioned reminds me of S.M.A.R.T. Goals.
