Sherrilyn Kenyon and Garth Nix, without a doubt, always. I love a little fantasy and science fiction. Both authors vividly place you in their world, whether it's the Old Kingdom, modern-day New Orleans or a futuristic space colony.

I constantly recommend Jodi Picoult any chance that I get. She is such an amazing author who puts so much dedication into every one of her stories and provides such strong, powerful messages.

There are so many good ones! But to recommend, I would probably start with Hemingway classics, like the great Old Man and the Sea.

I'm obsessed with Jim Butcher! I'll have to check out Kevin Hearne.

I always end up recommending Donna Tartt or Kazuo Ishiguro. Very different writers, for different interests.

I'm always recommending Tana French for fans of mystery/thrillers. Her Dublin Murder Squad books have always been fresh and exciting. I also like to recommend Craig Johnson, author of the Longmire Mysteries. His writing is incredibly beautiful.

I always recommend karen Marie Moning's Highlander series (time travel historical romance) and Fever series for fantasy / paranormal funs.
Another author I usually recommend is Christina Lauren for the beautiful series and a lot of Linda Howard's novels and of course Hannah Howell for historical romance.

I have seen many people recommending Sandra Brown but even though I have read two of her books (Another Dawn and Rainwater) I cannot say I am a fan. Could someone recommend some of her best works so I could get a copy of her books. She has so many books out that I would not know what to choose. I'd really appreciate some help in deciding which book of hers I should try next..

Although she's only written two books, Hannah Harrington. Both of her books really hit my heart. Also Rainbow Rowell

I have tons of authors who write in the same genre that I am constantly recommending to my friends. For example, Maggie Stefanare? I don't know how to spell her las name rip. Another favorite author of mine is Becca Fitzpatrick, she's great. And my all time favorite author is Neal Shusterman (heart eyes)
