I believe in ghosts. I believe they effect people differently based on their own sensitivity levels. I also believe that not all ghosts are trapped souls waiting to move into the beyond. I believe some have the ability to pass back and forth.

Absolutely. I am a firm believer that there is no such thing as "coincidences". In addition to that, I have experienced far too many things I cannot make excuses for. I believe ghosts are souls that are lost. They have not found their way to heaven or hell yet.

Yes...I do believe in ghosts. In the third dimension, there is a world of ghosts and the living deads. They keep on straddling into two worlds, many a times assuming a face and structure of a typical human being. It's difficult to recognize them and one can only be able to realize a ghost by observing his or her behavior.

I don't believe in ghosts, but I do believe in the supernatural. This comes from my religious background....while I dismiss the idea of the dead roaming the Earth in any kind of form, I do believe in heaven and hell, angels and demons, and God and the devil. The most convincing evidence are events that happen in everyday life and yet you can't explain it. I will never forget when my little sister went on my bicycle and accidentally rode out onto the main road. A minivan hit her....except she only had scrapes and bruises. Went to the hospital and everything was fine. My bicycle, on the other hand, was crushed. My logical side is telling me "well, obviously, she toppled over before the van could make contact" but there's always another side, deeper in me, saying "but what are the odds that that would happen at the right time?" The bicycle was right under her.....if it got crushed, why didn't the bicycle itself do any damage? How did it flip out from under her? What I witnessed that day was a miracle. As for the dead, they have been through enough so in my world, they rest until the day they will rise again. Until then, I will watch my ghost movies every now and again :)

What does the term "believe in" mean? Do ghosts exist? Does energy exist? Do you believe in electricity? Have you experienced it's energy? Do you believe in it?

Your brain sends and receives electrical impulses and energy, unseen. Constantly. Do you believe in it?

It is very possible and quite likely, that those who have not experienced a paranormal experience have not used that area of their mind yet. Similar to when you can not see something or fail to recognize someone directly in front of you because it isn't where you consider it a normal place for them to be. Your mind does not recognize what it cannot conceive.

Having said all that, ghosts usually are experienced, rather than seen.
I have seen and encountered unexplainable things, including energy in the form of humans that have passed.

I have experienced an encounter with energy in the form of electricity.
I have been shocked by electrical outlets more than once and it is quite unpleasant. Even though I didn't see it, I sure as heck felt it!

I have died in the hospital and revived. My energy left and returned. I have had experiences with energy in other forms more than once, and not all pleasant, I might add.

The bottom line is, energy forms exist, whether we believe it or not! :)

I do believe in ghost!! I think they exist in this universe just like millions of other creatures, we have not yet discovered. Science is advancing really fast nowadays, and I am sure there is going to be an discovery soon about what happens once you are dead ( I think you become a ghost!!) I don't think there has been any time I haven't believed in ghost since my mom believes in ghosts. I don't necessarily feel like they are as bad, or scary looking as people make them out to be.... I mean otherwise wouldn't they have attacked us by now? I also think me watching all these conspiracy theories on youtube has increased my belief in ghost alot...

I definitely believe in ghosts and the after life and I love reading books on the subject! I once lived in a house that I'm sure was haunted and I can still remember the way it made me feel when I was living there.....like always unsettled. This has always been a topic that interests me! ?

I used to as a kid, but stopped. Though I'd have that eery vibe after watching a horror movie well into my 20s. :P

I forgot to say that, although "Unspeakable Acts" is an excellent book, the hauntings were not realistic. However, it was a well told fiction story that was chilling and eerie.

I dislike using the term "ghosts." I refer to them as spirits and I do believe in them. Apparently, I've had a 6th sense type of deal since I was quite young. My family has shared stories with me in regards to experiences I've had in the past. My first dealing was as a toddler and involved my deceased great grandmother. Lately, my experiences have been with my deceased grandfather and my recently deceased ex/child's father. It's freaky at times, yet still comforting.

I think when we are children we are taught that ghosts are scary. Some people hold on to this opinion all their lives. I do not believe in ghosts but do believe there is always spirits around us. I don't think they are here to scare us as much as they are here to guide us in our daily lives.

Thank you for the compliment; you definitely have to suspend belief. I let my mind go where it wanted to. This book isn't supposed to be based on true events or even anything close to it. Lol
