Excellent review. Liked the sample even though it was somewhat above my scientific expertise - joking!. Actually, felt like I was reading a super time warp novel. Very much liked the cover!

Great review! Thanks for the fair warning because I do not enjoy old school science fiction, but the author including a list of terms may help in getting through the book. I will at least sample based on this review!

Nice review! I love SciFi; I could do without the glossary terms though, sort-of feels like a textbook to me. The book looks great and I look forward to the read! Congrats to the author on a stellar review!

From what I read in the sample book, it doesn't sound like one I would read. I am not a huge fan of sci-fi, however, I have read some books for something different. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the review. It is good to know that there may be some words that are not common and needs to be looked up for some people. I personally do not like academic type of books so this would not be one for me.

This is a fantastic read! I love sci-fi and wish I had more of it in my library. I have to admit that at this moment I am not able to purchase this via book or via Kindle but I would love to. The sample pages were pages that made me admit my desire to have a real book in my hands so I could go and flip through the pages as fast or slow as I wanted, turn down the corners as a bookmark and then to put First Contact: Strings Attached on my bookshelf for others to see. WOW!

I'm not sure this is for me, but I like the idea of having footnotes :)

I love old school science fiction so this may just be my cup of tea. Thanks for the great review!

Great review! Unfortunately, I do not read much sci-fi at all....so a glossary is good! Woohoo! I will need it use it! Also, since I am not too familiar with sci-fi, I don't know the difference between today's type and the "old school" type. Sorry! Someone please explain....help!

Either way, congrats to the author on being chosen for BOTD and for the great review! I'm going to pass this recommendation on to my sister...she will love it!

I like that the book refers back to human social and moral issues. Not being a SciFi fan, you've still provided reason to read this in your review. Well done.

Thanks for the review. You gave a good background as to the human tendencies that might also be present on aliens. I have already reserved the book on my shelf when I have time to read it.
