Yeah, maybe. But it still doesn't explain all the weird sightings.Camogirl217 wrote:I don't believe in ghosts. Personally, I think it all started because someone lost in grief wanted to believe their loved one was still around and then convinced other grieving people until it became a full-blown superstition.

Great thinking.id_kumar wrote:Of course they exist. They are just "creatures" (perhaps what we call souls) that exist in another dimension. Sometimes, quite by accident, their world intersects with ours, and we become aware of each other. But I don't believe that they can--or even wish to--harm us. In fact, they are probably as startled by these accidental encounters as we are. So be nice to them

It could be:
A Demon: An otherworldly spirit either benevolent or malevolent
An Angel: Some being who has attained a high level of spiritual evolution and is there for your benefit. (this could be ancestors or not).
A Ghost: Some human being or earthly creature which either doesn't know that it's dead or refuses to pass on to the other side completely.
A Poltergeist: Which I have come to understand as a person who has psychic abilities but doesn't know it and moves things around the house or otherwise creates disturbances on accident.
In an infinite universe, their origins are multitudinous.
