Hello,
I don't eat anything while I read but I will drink a cup of tea, hot chocolate, apple cider or sometimes water. It doesn't matter what I'm reading though.

It's pretty much the same stuff no matter what I am reading. A nice cup of coffee/choco with biscuits or bread. Maybe if I feel lazy, I'll just grab some sweets or mint candies.

I find Chai lattes to be utterly satisfying when reading, the spice and slight bit of caffeine always gives a spark behind my eyes when reading. Since it is my favorite passtime, I usually indulge in some kind of chocolate as well.

I think snacks that aren't full of grease and oil are best to eat when reading. I like water, smoothies, and sofa and I don't mind drinking any while reading. I would eat pizza and read if only my hands didn't get so greasy.

I like to eat something that I can just pop into my mouth as I read. Something like M&M's or something that I can break off and eat but doesn't stain the fingers (and the pages). I only drink while reading when I'm thirsty or I have the craving for it. The craving tends to be mint tea most times. This only applies to paperbacks.

If I'm reading electronically then it's a free for all. Everything and anything is on the table as long as I have one free hand to scroll.

I love feeling cozy when I read! Because of this, I always have a fresh cup of tea (with milk and sugar if I have had a particularly rough day). I also tend to have some sort of cookie or sweet bread to eat along with my tea, though it has been a bit difficult to find an option that is not too crumbly!

Whenever I am reading I always have chips or crackers, something that I can pick up a piece of and nibble. For a drink, it doesn't really matter.

My favorite drink to enjoy while I read would be a hot cup of coffee with cream and sugar. Add a donut to the mix and you have the perfect snack to eat while curled up with a good book!

If I am reading during the day I enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, with a slice of what ever sweet I have in the house. In the evening I enjoy a glass of wine and some cheese and crackers.

I think it depends what I'm reading and the weather. Like, my go to is a cup of hot cocoa with marshmallows and whipped cream but if it's a summer month and I'm outside, I love iced green tea. I usually don't like to eat when I'm reading because my hands feel dirty and it's not the most fun. But I do sometimes read with my dinner to multitask. But that's only when I'm using like a fork or chopsticks. If I need a knife it's too tedious. :D

I like to eat cracker and I don't have a specific drink. I read a paragraph when there is a pause while I am cooking

Favorite food and drink while eating: A good cup of coffee or tea is perfect with a good book on a rainy day ...and don't forget a comfy, cozy blanket! I don't usually eat while I am reading though.

An iced coffee and chocolate muffin is my go-to, but I love hot tea with lots of honey when I'm settling down with a book before bed.

I love green tea with honey (especially if I'm reading at work since I work third shift) or I'll have a cocktail or martini when I like to feel fancy. Usually if I am eating while I read it's a salty snack like pretzels or chips. Other times I like bagels and lachs, which I know is weird but something about a book in one hand and a salmon sandwich in the other puts me in a good mood.

And I read during my cooking lulls like when waiting for the water to boil or during the actual cooking process. When I was little I used to sit on the counter with my book and cook giant batches of soup from scratch. I could be in the kitchen for hours and not notice because I was reading. My mom used to think I wasn't paying enough attention to the stove and worried I'd set the whole house on fire (I only did that once, I swear)
