From the title of the book, I thought this could be a great book to read. But after reading the review, I see that it would probably not work in the way that I would want it to. Thank you for the honest review.

This is a different kind of a book, for sure. I typically can't stand self-help books, but being written story-style, this might be more palatable. Sounds like the author did an incredible job of making this work for both religious and non-religious type people. Wow.

Great review. Congrats to the author for being chosen as BOTD!! I usually don't care for self help books but since this OS written in story form I just might have to check it out, can't hurt. I know that the closer your relationship with God the better your life gets.

I was a little worried by the first page, is this really my kind of book? But after the second page I was hooked! I encourage anyone and everyone to sample this book!

I thank you for your thorough and concise review. This is not something that I would read anymore, I am 63 and no longer work, so applying anything from this book would be kind of pointless in the workplace. In my personal life though, it sounds like there are points that everyone could use. Happy Holidays!

I like that this one doesn't seem to be the "traditional" self-help type of book. I never enjoy reading then when they sound like a textbook, but how this one is actually spelled out to be a story, I think it would be more enjoyable! Congrats to the author!

I too would find this not for me since I'm not seeking to build a connection with God through prayer. Still, terrific that you were able to give this an objective review. Great job!

Thank you! No matter what stage you are at in life or how happy you claim to be, learning about or applying the techniques of others to your own life to find hapiness is never a bad thing. Even if those techniques are not for you, just listening and learning about the paths other people have taken, helps you grow as a person. I like how you were able to do this...you recognized that these techniqes were not for you, but just by listening and learning about them, you were able to learn more about your own wants/needs. I also like the idea that this book is written about the author's own learnings in story form. This way the readers don't feel like they are being told what to do, but instead, they are able to think about if they are able to apply the teachniqes to their own lives in the same way the author did. Nice review!!
