Great review! I like how even though this is a self-help book, it is written more like a story. When sampling the read, that's what it felt like to me, too. I also like how the author ties God into his book; sometimes I feel I need a deeper connection with Him, so maybe this will help me. Congratulations to the author for receiving such a positive review!

Looking at the book I might pick it up.. after reading the review I will not. The review was great wonderfully well written and very informative. This is not the kind of story I like to read though. Religous books usually try to steer clear of.

Reading your review, I realize that this book is different than I originally thought. I love that it is about finding happiness through God. I also think it is very unique to write a self-help book in a story book format! Can't wait to check it out!

I love the unique format of writing the author's advice as a novel instead of like a normal self-help book. I am a strong Christian so having God as your foundation sounds like great advice! Thank you for such a well-written and honest review!

Thanks for the review! I saw this on the list and didn't pick it because I wanted to take a break from self-help books. It sounds like this one would have been the most entertaining and useful of all! I'm adding those one to my list of books to read (someday)...

Thanks for the review. I am not into religious things like this either, but I am glad that you chose to give it a good and fair review even though you may not agree with his beliefs.

I think it's great that the lessons are learned through the story rather than through instruction or admonition. It's also appropriate for a Christian book since Jesus did so much of His teaching through parables.

What a cute cover! My nephew would love this book just for that. Rethink Happy by Doug Kisgen is a must read while the kids are over for the holidays. I loved the thorough review and look forward to reading it.
