Christian fiction authors

Karen Kingsbury is a great Christian author and I have read most of the Beverly Lewis. I read a lot of the Christian books.

I really love Francine Rivers. The Mark of the Lion series, and also The Shofar Blew are very, very good reads.

I admit I am fairly picky when it comes to books. I like what I like, and I won't read your book very long if I don't like. Having said that, I do have a few Christian authors who are my "go to" authors. One is Brandilyn Collins. She writes suspense. She has several series out, and just about everything that I've read by her is great. My second one is Terri Blackstock. She seems to write in a couple of different genres.

I love Frank Peretti and his series This Present Darkness, Piercing the Darkness, and Prophet. I also like Ted Dekker series of Red, White, Green, and Black. He may not be considered a Christian author, but there are definitely Christian undertones.

William Paul Young wrote The Shack, which has Christian undertones. It's an amazing read. I believe that he has other books that are Christianity related, but you'd have to check.

I just recently read this book. It has been sitting on my bookshelf for about two years just staring at me. I bought it based on a friends suggestion. My husband wanted me to go through my books and down size them. So I picked it up and read it. It only took me about two days to finish. It was hard to put it down once you got into it. It brings forth real life issues with God. It shows our doubts and things we have issues with when it comes to God. It really shows us that we could have a relationship with Papa.

I have quite a few and would love to hear yours. Maybe I'll be able to add to my list.

Lorraine Snelling and Jeanette Oaks are my favorites.

Based on the comments above, I can say that Lauraine Snelling and Janette Oke are also a couple of my favorites. Karen Kingsbury is also a great author. I have only read one series of Beverly Lewis and I don't remember the name of it. It is about an Amish girl who loves to paint. She invites an English pen pal to her home to stay with her for a while and also ends up falling for an Englisher. That's pretty much what I remember of that series. I have recently started enjoying Lynn Austin and Francine Rivers as well. I have only read one book, written by both Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker, and it is called House. All of these are great authors, and unique in their own way.
