"RED QUEEN" by Victoria Aveyard! It will make such a great movie if the director is good and the budget enough!

I've been wishing for a long time that we'd see a movie based on Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel's Dart and the two books that followed it. Unfortunately, the series is heavy on bondage and sex, which means it isn't appropriate for a broad audience. But I like the characters, I like the action, and I like the religious institutions that Carey created for her fictitious society.

I'd like to see any of Brandon Sanderson's books made into films. The Mistborn trilogy, for example, or Warbreaker... but I'm afraid that if they did ever decide to make film adaptations they'd never do the books justice

I would love to see a movie version of Jane Borodale's Book of Fires and The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch. I really loved the Book of Fires.

Oh, yeah The Lies of Locke Lamora could make a great film. I'd love to see that.

I wish that the Infernal Devices trilogy would be turned into a film! I mean, they are working with the Mortal Instruments, so why not the Infernal Devices?!

Chains, by Laurie Halse Anderson. A stunning book about the horrors of slavery, and the bravery of one young girl as she tries to save her little sister. I find slavery/civil war movies are usually very tastefully done, so I believe this could have a lot of potential.

I would love to see Marissa Meyer's Lunar Chronicles in movie form! But in a way that doesn't ruin the story and characters like some books-turned-movies do.

I would love Swan Song by Robert Mccammeron to be made into a movie. First bought the book at a flea market for a quarter and the front cover was torn . Best quarter I ever spent. My daughter loved it. She bought a new copy for her boyfriend. She even discussed the book with some friends who had also read it when she was in college. I bought another copy to replace the first one.

Rogues by George R.R. Martin and Gardner Dozios contains some brilliant short stories that would make great films..
Bent Twig by Joe R. Lansdale
What do you do? by Gillian Flynn
Tough times all over by Joe Abercrombie
Just a few from the book. These three are great stories, so imaginative and different to the traditional story telling!

Maybe not a movie, but I would love for HBO (or someone similar) to take on the massive series "Malazan Book of the Fallen"... Epic.
