This year I intend to read at least one book every couple of weeks. I've been working at home more lately so I have more time than I used to.

I'm always reading something but I have never thought about giving myself a number of books to read in a year. This sounds like a fun thing to do! I'll start with the low number of 50 and see if I reach this goal or read past it.

Now that I challenged myself--the challenge has been accepted.

I think I'm going to put 50 books for the year as my goal, but that would only include books I read for fun and not educational books.

This year, I will challenge myself to read several books from different genres. I tend to read mostly fiction and romance but, I have been known to read a couple of sci-fi. My goal of books to read this year is 60.

I have never set a goal on books for a year. I think 24 would be low so I will set my goal at 36. I have already read 2 this year and have many on my list to read. Since I work at a book store I think that this goal is attainable.

I think I'll go for 50. Why not? The foster kids went back to their parents, and I have a little me time, and we haven't moved to the new house, and I don't have goats yet, and chicken chores don't take long. Oh, yeah, and I already finished the first one that I started this year, so that's 1 down!

Having four kids makes it a bit harder for me to read as much as I'd like.... or maybe I'm just procrastinating. BUT I gave myself a goal to read at least 1 or 2 books a month, I know that's not a lot to some people, but for now that is my goal :)

Usually I read 2 books month, so I would like raise my aim to 3 books a month. So this year, I wish to read at least 36 books. :techie-studyingbrown:
This is a realistic aim, I guess. Got a lot of things to do in my bucket list for this year!

I'm hoping to be able to read more this year since I have a 3 month maternity leave coming up...or is that crazy! I might have my hands full, but hoping to spend the 3 months relaxing with good books and my little one :D

I'm aiming at 100 books again. It was my goal for 2016 and I actually went past it by a few books. But honestly, it was touch and go for awhile and I didn't think I was going to make it. :0)

I'm planning to set mine lower this year. I could probably push myself and actually make it to 100, but I'm setting myself the goal of reading some of the titles I've been putting off. So I think I'll be doing about 75? :)
