I can't say this is the specific number of books I would love to read.

I have a goal of reading books about personal development, education and novels.
No specific number!

The most important thing here is to read and learn from those books.

The eye-catching book to me presently is 'The Secrets of the Streets' by Teju Babyface.
I must read it this year!

I really want to read as many as possible, it's just a bit difficult for me with a toddler. I can really only read during her naps and bedtime.

I'm impressed with the number of books others are setting as goals for 2017! I am new to the OBC and I'm hoping to read 2 books a month, at least.

I have set my goal at 100! I am already on 14, though I read a lot more in the winter. I will be way ahead by the time spring gets here, then I will be behind till fall of the year. My real challenge will be keeping up with what I have actually read. Happy Reading!

Anchovy cat, audiobooks totally count! I'm so glad I got over my initial resistance to audiobooks. I love them now! I love the way Audible's audiobooks sync up with Kindle books. I also get loads of them from the library's digital website. I remember when I first started and was listening to them on CDs. Seems like that was so long ago!

My goal for 2017 is to read 104 books. I'm in a challenge to read a book every week for different categories, and I want to read a book of my own choosing as well. So two books a week -- should be easy peasy!

Yes, PolarTree, I agree that audiobooks should count. You're reading 104 books! That's crazy. I will be happy if I get around 20.

I think I'm too picky to read 100 books in a year. I only will read books that catch my attention with the cover and/or draw me in by their contents. Reviews also help me to decide whether or not I will read a certain book.

That being said, I just found another new book to add to my TBR list, lol.

I would like to read more about history this year as I am conducting heritage walks. So all about history is what this year will be. My target read at least a minimum of 12 historical books. :D

My goal is to read twenty books this year. It seems like a small number, but I want to be reasonable since college takes up a lot of my time.
