Thanks everyone! It's great that this book is part of a series since kids love to read multiple stories about the same character.

Sigh. If only bullying were that easily handled. I really liked the story and I thought the review was spot on. I do have some hope that the message would work when children are very young and curb such behavior before children get older. However, my own experience is that by the time a bully child gets to 8 or 9 he (or she) usually has bully friends with them. At younger ages - which this book targets - chances go way up that the actions could be curbed. So a good read and best of luck with sales. Should get into a lot of school libraries!

I'm for any book that teaches anti bullying and it's especially good to start at a young age. I will definitely be grabbing this one to read to my grandchildren. Thank you to the author for making it free. Congratulations on being BOTD!

This sounds like a fun read for kids while also teaching a lesson. I remember loving books like this when I was a kid. Thanks for the great review!

There are a few words that would be fairly advanced for children, such as domain, taunting, squirms, and deuce. A parent or teacher could certainly explain what the words mean.
This is a detailed review with several hints that should help parents and teachers (as noted above). I will use parts of it in a class I teach for teachers of young learners (TYL).
