Go to the OBC homepage. Click on the log in/sign up tab in the menu on the left side of the screen. Click on profile tab and then scroll down to the bottom and you will see where you can enter your reading goal for 2017. Hope this helps.

My goal is to read at least 1 new book each week. I hope to read more than that, but since I have 2 jobs it is hard to find the time for more.

I usually try to read at night before I fall asleep. This is a little "me" time. I have two daughters, a full time Job, and a second job. As well as being a single parent. Reading for me lets me escape my hectic life and live another life through the characters in the books. I love when a book can draw be in within the first chapter. I do have a rule of thumb, if I start a book I have to finish it regardless if it's good in my opinion or not. I don't know if thats an OCD issue, or just respect for the author.

I will often find an author I like and gorge myself on all of their books until I've read everyone of them. Is anyone else like this?

Hmm... Well, as this is my first year here, I suppose I'll start small at around 25-30 books.

I have put 1 book down per month totaling 12 books this year, but I'll read more I'm sure.

I don't think I could set a specific number, my goal is to spend time reading each and every day. No clue how many books that will shake out to.

Last year I started with a goal of 25, but finished it half way then set it to 50, but couldn't keep up and eventually kept it at 40. In the end I read 43, but this year I've decided to stretch myself to 50 and try to read 1 book a week! I honestly find having a goal (and especially setting it on Goodreads which can tell you if you're on track) motivates you to put more time aside to read, particularly as I personally like to fulfil the goals I set for myself and even surpass them.

If listening to a book I suppose I could do more than one a month. I'm not a very fast reader and I have many distractions but I do enjoy reading books. I enjoy reading them more than listening tho.

Setting myself a goal of 75 this year, since I now have a Kindle I'm happy with a lots of books already purchased ready to read! If I don't slack off after a few months like I did last year then I'm pretty sure I should make it.

I'm participating in my local library reading marathon of 26 books in a year. Aside from textbooks, I hope to read that many or even more as time allows! :techie-studyingbrown: :techie-studyingbrown:
