Anyone Write on Wattpad/DeviantART?

Post by eatpraywrite »

Hello! :-)

I personally post most of my writing on Wattpad and deviantART; does anyone else have accounts on there? :-) I'd love to know! Let me know what kind of stuff you write about too, or if you post your writing somewhere else!

Thank you!

I do not write on wattpad as I'm not a writer, but I do know there are many authors using it. Vera Nazarian previews her chapters on there from her new books on Amazon.

I just started a Wattpad account today, so I guess that counts. Likewise, I have a new Deviantart account that I've posted a few things to. Not really "stories" on that second one, but it's still writing. Not sure if you want links to the accounts or not, so just to be safe, I'll leave them out.

I have a Wattpad account but have yet to upload any of my work. I've thought about it just because I want to see how many people would be interested in what I write before I go and publish. Again. Didn't know DeviantART had a place for writers. Might have to check that out too.

Okay then, here they are.

My Wattpad account only has one entry in it so far. It's the first chapter of the second draft of my still in (very slow) progress YA fantasy/sci-fi novel. https://www.wattpad.com/user/EliGoldfarb0

For my DeviantART account, it's something a bit different. I'm trying to build up a super hero world setting and getting other users to contribute to it. Or at least, that's what I'm hoping. Right now it's a bunch of character profiles for the setting. http://randomizer3388.deviantart.com/

It's definitely not quite as big as the visual art, but there's lots of stories there. It'll take a few entries to really figure out the system they use though. Not because it's difficult (it isn't) but because it's not as obvious as with visuals.

You should! There's a lot of fun writing prompts or exercises that people make on there, too, that can really help to just exercise your skills or develop settings/characters!

I had a Wattpad account, mostly to read stuff, but I haven't been on there in ages.

I occasionally use devianart, but it's more to enter challenges/prompts/contests on it (or napo) than posting all my writing. My widest selection of writing is actually on fictionpress (or just on my computer). I've tried wattpad, but didn't see any advantage to it so I don't really use it now.

I write on wattpad and tumblr. On wattpad, I post all my YA stories. I just recently started it so there's no much on the site now. On tumblr, I post my short stories. I have a weebly site where I plan to put my children stories. I have a little bit of everything everywhere lol
