This is a great review. It tells you enough to get you interested but doesn't tell you how it ends.

I am not a particular fan of sci-fi ... all those unconvincing cultures; weird, fake names. But a sci-if story set on earth in real time ...now there's something that would appeal to me. Pity about the limitations in character development. Any story needs real characters to give it appeal to reader empathy. Good review, though, of what sounds like an interesting book.

I like my science fiction to be of the not post apocalyptic version so this one looks interesting.

This sounds like a unique take on dystopian novels. I enjoy this type of book. I do like good background development on characters, so that aspect is disappointing to hear. It still sounds like a good book I would probably read. Good job on the review.

I'm not usually into stuff labeled sci-fi, but this actually sounds particularly fascinating and like something that could really put the brain to work imagining what may really lie ahead in the future. Thanks for the great write-up!

The most interesting part of this book's premise is its plausibility. I can see the world heading in the direction that The Pursuit of Time steers towards. Probably not so far as to have the Tribunal until after I die, but this will be an interesting and deeply introspective read for me.

Interesting concept to this book of transplantations of brains into younger bodies to allow a longer life. I was drawn in immediately by reading the sample. Thanks for the awesome review which was thoughtful and informative. Congrats to the author on having an imaginative BOTD. This one is going on my TBR shelf.

This book sounds like something I would enjoy. I do think that the underdeveloped characters might get on my nerves a little though.

Wow. A futuristic Sci-Fi Novel of year 2038 will definitely be an interesting read. Congrats on being the BOTD. :)

Great review. You really know how to drop enough breadcrumbs for itbyo beventicing without giving too much away. I am a fan of some sci-fi novels usually more with a dystopian flavor but the premise of this book is quite unique and intriguing. I really dislike it when characters aren't fleshed out, given depth and are underdeveloped. I do plan to give this book a read though, because I've always wondered about the what ifs surrounding brain transplants. Thanks so much for sharing.

Science fiction is not my genre, but I must admit I enjoyed the sample wholeheartedly. As for being plot-driven--that should actually be the vehicle of choice here, with the time-sensitive need for a transplant...IMO. Good job on the review.

Great review. This sounds like an interesting read with a different outlook on the future. I think it would be fun to read how this author depicts the world in the future.
