The Official review of the Royal Secret by John Bentley gives an insight of the parallel Elizabethan Universe. Really it is the work of a genius to take us back in time

Great review! This is definitely not a book that I would choose for myself. I very rarely read historical fiction, but I do love thrillers and have to admit that the intrigue and deception are xallingbti me. On the other hand the awkward rambling, halting quality of the narration does give me pause. Guess I'll at least give it a shot. Thanks so much for sharing.

Interesting information! You make it sound like a good read, but the confusing sections don't seem very appealing.

This sounds like a book I would normally enjoy, historical fiction with a thriller woven in. However, I wasn't a fan of the writing style and I'll have to give this book a pass. I can see how the book could get pretty confusing later on.

Sounds like a fascinating book! I have always been enchanted by Elizabethian times. It's good to know about the time jumps because if not written well can really confuse me....I hate being lost while reading it usually makes me lose interest. Thank you for your great review! Amanda

I enjoy historical fiction, especially when time travel is involved! However, the plot seems a little confusing. I don't like the occult aspects, so this is probably not a book for me. Good job on the review!

Great job on the review! This novel sounds intriguing and the plot kind of reminds me of Dan Brown's books, since I'm a huge fan of his I think I might have to check this book out. :)

Nice. The review has shown how the author blended the Elizabethan era with the modern times to satisfy the reader's curiosity. The themes are also clear

Novels that centered their plots around alternate universes never used to appeal to me until I found your review. Despite the rambling tangents and halting quality that you mentioned, I think that I will enjoy sampling this novel.
