The story, as demonstrated by the three girls seem to be very interesting. Reading the first twelve percent of the book has made me thirsty for more of the juice in the whole book. Therefore, I will enthusiastically continue reading it up to the last page. :[bco=][/bco]

I enjoyed the section I've read so far, and I appreciated you sharing how the end of the story is rather ambiguous. That actually helps me make a bit more sense out of what I've read so far. Thanks for a thorough, detailed review.

I normally don't like books that end so ambiguously, but since it's the first in a series I might want to give it a try. The story sounds interesting and unique and I really like the way you describe the characters and their sarcastic banter. Great review!

Thanks for the great review. I know this is not for me (as an old person). This novel will be exciting to teens as recommended. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

Thank you for the review. In my oppinion colloquialisms in medieval settings are acceptable as long as it's clear it's other other world and not our own. Sarcasm and well developed characters are a big plus for any book, but I'm kind of worried with ambiguous ending and unusual structure, but it could also be a plus if done well.

After reading this review it opened my eyes as to whether I would want to read this book. I do not like books that are super natural in tone nor ones that focus on the plot and characters and not the rest of the book as well. I like books that are a total package where all points are focused on. When you miss with one you tend to miss with it all. As to the supernatural aspect that is a personal preference and nothing against the author. Thanks for the candid review.
