Books featuring abuse are very important for spreading awareness. However, the Christian elements are not for me. Thanks for the informative review.

hsimone wrote:Wonderful review, kimmyschemy06! This sounds like a book that I would enjoy! Too bad about the editing. A mistake or two isn't bad, but when there's enough to make you notice, then it disrupts the flow of the story. Otherwise, it seems like a great read! :)
I feel the author's pain regarding editing. I will read this book anyway in support of my co-author. Thanks for the review!

Thank you for the review.Domestic abuse is a serious matter and every book shining some light on the subject should be supported. Judging by the review book is well written and I wouldn't mind editorial errors so much.

From the 'Official Review: Genna's Fight by Sheldon D. Newton', I infer that the book has a strong story, with an optimistic theme. The review well describes it.I love such stories.

Thanks for the review. It is too bad that such a sweet story had so many errors in it to take a star away. At least you did enjoy it still.

Thank you for your review...very helpful! I really enjoyed the sample on Amazon and want to read more to find out what happens next! It brings attention to a serious issue that goes on in so many relationships today. Maybe it will also bring hope and help to those who are in need. With some editing, it sounds like this could be phenomenal! :-)

Genna story touches my heart from the beginning of the book to the end. She submitted to her husband according to the bible if not she wouldn't have endured the beating by her husband. This book helps to correct the bad habit of some men who has hot temper towards their wife.

The review is very touching from the beginning itself and I for one is definitely motivated to read the book. Genna's story is very realistic as any other girl of our society who might face similar problems in her life too and as you say, the errors are too many to ignore, it was difficult for me as well to understand the valuable pieces of the story. Thanks for such an in depth review, the book as a whole is interesting. Getting a book reviewed from random outsiders takes a lot of courage and no doubt, the author is quite creative but it would be very nice if the errors are lessened. Thanks again for such a wonderful review dear and I would suggest everyone to give it a try. :)

Thanks for the great review. The errors didn't matter to me. I love the story very much. It is not only a rag to riches story but a deeply religious one on how to be saved and the empeccable integrity of R and G. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

Nice review, personally I do not notice writing errors if I get caught up in the story.

Too bad about all the errors. It sounds like this book could be really meaningful talking about courage and resilience except that the errors would be very distracting.

I must say that the book is indeed a good book to learn from a lot of person are going through exactly what Genna went through. It shows that if only we can endure and leave all to Jesus anyone will over any kind challenges life poses on us. Thanks!
