Yes I must say by reading your review it does not sound like it belongs to the romance genre. However, it may still be fascinating someone else. Thanks for the review.

Oh. That's interesring. I'might curious - Having read the sample, do you think the review was apt for the book?
Having read the sample, I agree with many of your points - a likable main character, too many characters to keep track of, and the plot not being engaging enough. I can't comment about the romance aspect since I didn't get very far in the story.

Well-written and honest review. I agree that a book can be ruined when the author includes too many secondary characters.

It can make the reader lose track of the characters. Thank You for your comment.

Thank you for the informative review! This sounds like an interesting tale of self-discovery. Usually, I don't pair that with humor. Too bad about the plot not holding your interest.

A really great review. I don't think this book is for me though. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Books about self-discovery usually don't hold my interest much. But if there are a lot of elements of humor thrown in then it might be worth checking out.

Great review. The telling the story in third person isn't really my thing but I'll be checking it out.

I am happy with how Randy Love didn't give up on himself from being unemployed, to having temporary part time jobs to obtaining a more respectable full time job but I do not like the genre of the book being been categorised under romance

Sounds like the protagonist experiences a lot on his journey to self-discovery and stability. Not sure it is for me, but it sounds like a good book for fans of the genre. Good job on the review~
