What a pleasure to read a wonderfully well written book by an author who has the storytelling talent to bring the past to life. The revolutionary war was fought by our country to break away from the British. Again America in its infancy placed family against family and brothers against fathers and brothers to bring war to the table of families showing their support to Britian or America. Just as the civil war would do the same in years to come. Joe Epley has a talent to bring to life characters who make the story one that you will want to re-read again. It deserves a solid 5 star rating and I cannot wait for Joe's next book. This is one that you will want to add to your reading schedule. Yes it is that good. Joe Epley writes with a passion that shows emotion and feeling on each and every page. Historical fiction at its best.
