A remarkable effort by Gerald L Nardella. A great deal of intrigues would have played out following the sudden appearance of Beanie's California based ex-boyfriend. A food for thought for every hide and seek lover. And kudos to AlynnPowers for the superlative dissection of Playing Hurt.

Great Review! I think you were able to give me an accurate peek into the story. Thanks for describing the book's themes so well. While high school angst isn't an attractive theme for me, your review makes me want to read it!

I'm really curious about how the author fit such a packed story into a small time frame - looks like an interesting read!

That is an interesting preference. I've read a few books that take place in a single day/night.

This doesn't sound like something I'd be interested in, but thank you for the review.

Thanks for the review. It is good to point out that it could be sexist so I am glad that you found it important enough to mention that with the context of the setting it was appropriate at the times.

Given the era of the book, this memoir-like storytelling could be extremely interesting. Thanks for your honest review regarding the likely criticism. I look forward to sampling Playing Hurt.

Great review! I haven't ever considered the difference of how converting the document to fit a different device would affect the formatting. Thank you for sharing, this seems like an interesting story.

The setting of the story was probably taken years older. But your review seems that it is currently in the present setting since the event is still played these years. Your review is attracting which I came to the point of reading it in the future. Thank you for the great review.

Thanks to the great review. This book walks us down memory lane from the past way of life especially to young adults of that time. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.
