This sounds amazing. How interesting to have the protagonist's family be mafia. That makes for a compelling plot twist. Thanks for your insightful review!

This sounds like a book plot that could be happening in today's world. I look forward to reading this book as I do enjoy a good suspenseful storyline. Gore and language don't really bother me much. Plus it is free and that is always a plus! Nice review.

I like how you compare the "quality" of writing, rather than just reviewing the plot. Gives some perspective.
Also thanks for the warning about graphics and language.

Thanks for the review and letting us know about the graphic scenes and language. I was all in until I read that and it made me think again about reading it.

First I have to say what an awesome review, the way you talk about the book makes me really want to read it. I love books with action and adventure. And the way you talk about Bishop really has me interested in what happens to him.

Thanks for the review. It is great that a debut novel has gotten such high praise and has very few grammatical errors for such a long book. It sounds very interesting from your review.

Your review was great and I'm really interested in reading this book. I like books that are action packed and provide some comic relief. It's too bad about the graphic violence and profanity, but I'm willing to overlook that and give this book a try.

It just goes to show that even when you retire, it never means that you would never stand up and work again when you feel that it is the right time to do so. once a soldier, always a soldier.
