For me, the excess of blood and gore overwhelmed the otherwise interesting questions of faith. This is purely a matter of personal taste, and I'm sure that many others would enjoy this book exactly as it is.

It seems a good story that keeps you on tension, imagining what will come next. I will have to read it. Thanks for the review.

Sound good. Maybe it will be properly edited and then re-released. Regardless of how good the story sounds, I get too distracted by poor editing to enjoy the read. Thanks for the review. Let us know if the a new edition is released.

This sounds like a great book. Thanks for sharing your review. I really hope they fix the mistakes I can't stand when a book is published with an abundant amount of mistakes One Or even three, OK. It sounds like an emotion filled book that I'd be happy to read.

This doesn't seem like a book for me since I usually don't read horror books. However you gave a really nice overview of the book and you did a great job on the review!

I have this for review too, so I didn't read yours too thoroughly in case of spoilers. I'm really looking forward to reading the book now though!

I am also surprised that the author would not create a romantic relationship between Haatim and Abigail. I am so used to that that as I was reading your review I thought, "and here comes the romance," but I guess that since it seems more like a horror novel than a romance, it doesn't necessarily need a relationship between the two main characters. I am considering reading this, but I am someone who can't really get past grammatical errors, so I'll see how the sample is before I decide if I'll actually purchase it.

I read the prologue part on Amazon before reading this review. I was sucked right into the story, the way it started with Reverend Arthur chastising himself. Then the dialogue between the Reverend and Frieda came off so emotive that I was touched by her vulnerability. I wonder what the call to Arthur was about, and I need to read more to find out. The review is good and insightful.

This does sound like an intriguing story, especially the part about faith being the main weapon against evil

I was so excited to see this book as the #botd! I have been reading this book for about a week and am totally entranced. The story jumped right off the page and has captured my attention! I'm a huge supernatural fan and the creativity with the main protagonist and the way the author just gives you enough information to ask yourself if our heroes will figure thier way out keeps me glued to the page.
Congrats to the author!

Thank you for this incredibly detailed and thorough review of Raven's Peak by author Lincoln Cole. I like the way you opened with the question of Reverand Arthur's sanity and his willingness to commit himself to protect others against the Entity that plagues him. This is one of the points of the story that had me enthralled, and I'm glad to see that you agree! Once again, thanks for the comprehensive and enjoyable review, kudos and well done!!!??????
