I like photography too, so it would definitely be interesting to read a perspective of the Vietnam war by a cameraman. Will have to add this to my "to read" list. Thanks for the review.

Thank you for the compelling review. I read the sample of the book and was completely pulled into the story. I also noticed some grammatical errors in the pages that I read.

This seems like an intense and riveting read for fans of action and war stories! A bit too intense for my tastes though I did enjoy the sample.

It seems like an interesting story in this book, I would recommend it to soldiers who love reading and action movie actors to act this story in a movie, it would sell a whole lot.

Great review! What I like most about how you describe this book is that it is heartbreaking one minute and funny the next. Historical fiction is always interesting to read. Too bad about the editing errors; hopefully they are fixed now.

Novels of the Vietnam War are rarely written, not sure why that is, maybe even though it almost 50 years ago and too soon, I think it would be interesting to read. Thank you for your review!

An honest account of the Vietnam War is an important reminder, especially given events in the region at this moment. Thanks for the review.

This book brings back bad memories of the draft that sent people like Mohammed Ali to jail, and the pain and deaths in the Vietnam war. Those who were not around then can learn about this dark history by reading this book, and those old enough to remember can refresh their memories. In the "Read This First" opening to the book, the author states that the cussing and foul language in the book are what happen in war, and are not meant for public consumption. I think this is misplaced, since the book is meant for public consumption. Or is it not? The review is commendable for being thorough.

I like how the story is based in the Vietnam War but as a background part and you get more of the actual story that way. Thank you for your review.
