This historical-fiction story by Stanley is a must read. He emphasized in his preface that this is a fiction. Still, as I read the pages, the events are almost truebased from my archival readings. I recommend this book to thise who are interested in history.

Thanks for the honest review. It sounds like you feel very strongly about the book. It does seem to be a book that teaches about the war without being a lecture.

Thanks for the review. I'm not a fan of history and war, and I wouldn't really read a book that is about it, but your review makes it seem like a really interesting book to read!

While this seems like it could be an interesting book, war stories are not really my thing. It's just not my type of book, but you did a great job with the review and it was very informative.

I have to be honest, when I saw what the subject material was about I immediately put his one on my 'not interested' list. But after reading the sample & being totally engaged in the story, I am definitely putting this one on my 'definitely reading' list!

I love the way the author jumps into the story & makes you feel like you are right there. So far the writing is not over graphic but enough details to make it real. The characters are believable & full of potential. The story line is fast paced which made putting it down tough.

Great job! Awesome story writing. Congrats on #botd

A true life of soldiers in the middle of a war. I am also wondering how Skelley able to survive in this horrible war of Vietnam. Another interesting story to read. Thanks for this great review.

A book about the Vietnam War throughthe eyes of a person serving in the military and a professional photo editor or however the term is called. This book should be read by certain folks of the Left. Why bring up politics? This book should help certain folks on the Left, why Veterans come beforee Refugees. ??

PS. Twitter link not working. Need to clean history and try again. My attack is very strong right now. Many have it worst.

Great review. I generally don't read such stories but I guess I need to give this one a try.

Thanks for the review. I am not a history buff, so I don't know how well I would like this book. You did seem to enjoy it and I am glad that you gave it 4 and didn't dock it just because of editing that may have been caught in another round of editing.

I love historical fiction and even more military plots. The reviewer is very right, the more real, the more terrifying. I'd love to read this book. Congratulations to the author

I really commend the author for the courage of writing such a daunting task. Fictional stories combined with
war and humor is a turn on for me already making it a must read on my own end.Vietnam war is still being talked about till date. It is an endless story. Very nice of you to have noted these errors. Good review and very commendable.
