When you mentioned that the author Reneau does well (in his novel) in presenting the differences between urban and rural West Africa, it made me excited in reading the whole of this novel.Although I am not so interested in thriller books especially Africans (maybe because i dont like History subject) , the review gives me a bit push of reading the novel soon. Great review anyway!

Thanks for pointing out that this is a testosterone-fueled adventure which is not really my taste. Thanks for the good review.

It sounds like a cracking read... especially the details of African life. Blood Diamond was a favourite movie, so I think I'll be giving this book a try.

Great review, thanks for pointing out there is combat within the book, not really my cup of tea. I do like the idea of the book being set in several different places.

Unfortunately I don't really care for combat books so this doesn't seem like my cup of tea, but congrats to the author for getting a glowing review.

Thanks for the review! I noticed that this book is the 4th in the series. Would you say that the book is enjoyable without having read the prior books in the series?

From reading the first 4 chapters on Amazon the impression I get is that the book looks filled with thrills. The author seems to know a lot about the West African region, where the action is set. The review makes enjoyable reading. Kudos

I believe this is a book up my alley. I seem to be getting Raiders of the Lost Ark vibes on this one. I love adventure, thrills and danger but only when I'm a spectator haha. The review convinced me to try the book and the others in the series.

Great misadventures and hopefully the font size doesn't detract from this book. Congrats on the great review!

This does not seem like my kind of book; however it does sound interesting and like something I may look into. The review was very descriptive without giving anything a way. Thanks for the review.

It sounds live you really need to know what you like to enjoy this novel. That being said, if your fit into the niche of this story, it sounds like you will absolutely love it. I look forward to reading more about this series.
