Whoa seems to me a mixture of Prison Break and the Cherub series. Thanks for the review, it helped me understand what the book is basically about, it's plot, setting and it's genre. And yes thanks for not including the spoilers!? Looking forward to read the book.

The review makes the story sound really exciting, and the book hit the ground running. I agree with the reviewer that it seems like a male dominated rock 'em sock.' em type of story. I also got the impression it would probably be better of I had read previous books In the series. The story did grab me, but not quite my genre.

Action genre doesn't appeal me very much. However, with an interesting plot, I don't mind it. This book has an intriguing plot. I might be into it.

Great review and very detailed! This sounds like a very interesting story. Too bad that there are only a couple of female characters in minor roles.

Very thorough review. It's detailed enough for me to know it's not likely a book I'd be interested in, but for those who enjoy the genre, it sounds like a great book!

What an amazing novel, as an African man I find it educative!, majorly the author featured his story scenes with war irony. Will get a copy of mine soon!

Very well written book review. I like how you mentioned the summary of the book in a interesting to read manner. You also wrote down who would enjoy it and who wouldn't. From the looks of it, you made the book sound a good read. Making the book review wonderful is a hard job but you managed to do a good job

i like it that the potential love triangle was mentioned right away because everybody participates when it is love topic. so that point is inviting readers. it easily caught me. then followed by implying about the kidnapping gives the idea of an action thing. i like it that the reviewer simplify the setting and the plot before giving personal opinions and that the review is very suggestive. the reviewer also considered the authors writing style.

I just finished the book and tend to agree with the reviewer's rating of 4 out of 4 stars. Although there were a couple of middle chapters that were a bit dragging, the ending was a good one for me. As I mentioned earlier, this book has an Indiana Jones' feel to it. Keep up the good work, Randall Reneau!
