Although I like thought-provoking books, I doubt I will pick this one up since the overall plot does not pique my interest enough to commit to reading the whole book. But others might enjoy it like you did, also great review! :)

Great review. A YA adventure with magic and an ancient prophecy sounds like an awesome mix to me. Grabbed my copy congrats on being BOTD and thanks for making it free today.

The way the review is already giving almost the exact environment field of the whole sequel is just exasperatingly amazing. How the summarization of the book and the recommendation is being described in the way that people might take interest in this context was spot-on!

It's too bad about the editing issues, but it sounds like an interesting book to read. I like how the book discusses important issues like rainforest deforestation and drug cartels. Good job on the review!

This sounds like such a great read. Young adult novel with a mix of fantasy and adventure is definitely what I enjoy in a good book. I'm sure once it's edited better it would be great. Great review!

Full of animism, spirits and black magic this sounds like it's right up my street. A sequel so I will have to get the first in the series.

Unfortunately I don't know how good this book sounds to me. I am not really into fantasy books, and the ones I do read I am very picky about. Anyway, thank you for the insightful review.

Amazing review. I love the idea of this book. To have a fantasy filled book with adventures that speak of real issues, such as the drug cartel, government, and dangers in the area give not only a fun read, but an educational one as well, even in fiction. Kudos to the author for developing such a read.
