laci_baby wrote:Well we women have to keep up with the times, correct? First it was hats and dresses that they had to stay so "up" on as a way to express themselves in times when women weren't aloud an opinion. It was the only thing they had their own say on, and then only the lucky ones were able to. Now, after sooo long of bloodlines of nothing but women accessorizing, they have to keep going with the punches. It's like a very long restlessness, if you will, a "If you dont accesorize your not expressing yourselves" feeling. Therefore, in this day in age, calls for bags and shoes. Atleast thats my point of view for it.
Good argument laci_baby but what drives me crazy is why do you(meaning all women) get handbags and then just put them away in the closet never to see the light of day. I reckon I can pick out over 10 handbags that my gf has bought that I have never seen her use. I have posted this before. It drives me crazy. AHHHHRRRR

This has to be one of the most sexist, stereotypical threads I've read in a long time. Face it, never the twain shall meet. Now let's get on with the task of world peace.....

Haha well i see a different point then, Gannon, if your gf's hiding bags out of sight. It's not always about showing them off, sometimes it's about just owning it. Like a book. Do you keep a book and carry it with you everywhere? No. You keep it in case you want to read it later. Just the feeling of owning that book is incredible. Same with bags. haha. Because we women know that someday there will be a need for THAT hidden purse and it will make the wait that much more desireable. It's like a fashion security blanket. You need it because you know you'll use it eventually. I get your point... and it is annoying, i agree. But what can i say? Women are an amazingly odd group of creatures, but men love us that way.

Wow laci_baby your post actually makes alot of sense. You are the first person who has explained this whole bag addiction to me. Thanks very much, I am going to apologize to my gf right now.(I still think she gets too many though but now when she gets the next bag I will be more understanding :) )

They add to a female's confidence. And heels are not worn for a "big butt."
Why do men like suits & ties?
