Great review! I have long loved the story of King Arthur, it's one of the very few historical fiction books that I seek out. This sounds like a wonderful young adults as well as fans of any other age. I am super looking forward to reading this book. Thank you so much for sharing!

I read the fist few pages on Amazon. The 'Prologue' is cleverly done, and it builds suspense in wanting to hear the story straightaway. I'm not surprised that you found the book to be so interesting that you were heartbroken to part with it at the end. It's good that a sequel is in the making. Great review.

Sounds like a great story. I love a story around King Arthur especially if it is as good as you are saying. Thank you for your honest review!

Two of my favorites: historical fiction and Young Adult lit, in one novel! How cool is that?! This sounds like a great book. I love getting swept up in stories with legends and myths like King Arthur, so I'm sure this is worth reading. Thanks for such a great review!

I don't know much about the legend of King Arthur so this historical-fiction novel sounds interesting to me. Seems like you really enjoyed it, it's always the good books that leave us broken-hearted. :D

This books sounds very cool and I an relate to feeling disappointed when you finish a great book. I like that the author created a prequel to the original King Arthur story. I also like that there is historical elements in the book such as the Saxons and aftermath of the fall of the Roman Empire.

This really sounds like a great book! Well done for the review. My first impression when I read that it relates the story of King Arthur was not very positive. The tale of King Arthur has been told and re-told and I didn't think this book would be partcularly exciting. However, after reading the review I was positively surprised. The plot seems original and the fact that it is written in simple flowing language is definitly a plus.
