You had me at King Arthur! This sounds like an amazing spin on the legend. I can't wait to read it! Thanks for your insightful review.

I'm familiar with this legend but I don't actually remember ever having read a full fictionalization of it, I know there must be several out there but maybe this one might be the one for me.

This sounds really good! I enjoy reading about King Arthur and Merlin, and this sounds like an interesting tale.

Thanks for the review. This sounds like it would be a great way to delve deeper into the story of Merlin. Some young adults probably don't care for backstories, so this would be a great way to educate them without having them realize it. It is great that you loved it so much that you would have given it more than a 4 out of 4 if possible.

The few pages I read from the sample were riveting and I was disappointed that there weren't more. I can understand hsimone's wanting to give the book more than 4 stars. Though directed to a young audience, this book will be enjoyed by even the older generation.

I don't know much about the historical period in which the legend of King Arthur is set. Sounds like the author has done a good job of creating an interesting story grounded in history.

This sounds awesome. It will be refreshing to see the story of King Arthur and Camelot retold in an entirely different setting but still containing the virtues of honesty, honor, brevity and loyalty. I would very much want to read this book.
