Historical fictions are tricky as you have to make sure there are enough references to the past in order to make it believable. I look forward to reading this.

Thank you for the detailed review. This story indeed revolved around the themes of friendship, loyalty, trust, bravery, and acts of faith. Usher Vance and Calvador's recount of the past is an informative compelling story.

This is my first Book of the Day with the Online Book Club, and if this is the norm for the quality of writing, I believe I've found a great place. Based on the sample, I did buy the book, and will continue to enjoy it.

It sounds tempting. I’m a true lover of tales of chivalry. In my opinion the best books about King Arthur are and always be Le Morte d’Arthur by Thomas Malory and The Once and Future King by Terence Hanbury White. But I would read this story gladly. Thank you for an interesting review! :)
