So a female Robin Hood and merry women instead? This would give the original story a profound new twist. The review was well written giving some much needed info after reading the sample on Amazon. I'm not to sure I'll read it but I might since it's rewriting Robin Hood into a modern politically correct setting. That alone would be interesting to read and see how the author handled it.

The review is quite interesting. Robyn's adventures are a treat to read. Moreover the book covers the issue of gender inequality which is really a nice concept.

Great review! I really like the idea of a female Robyn Hood. Sounds like a unique spin on the story that also addresses real world issues, which is perfect for YA fiction like you said. Looking forward to sampling it :techie-reference:

Sounds like an enjoyable read for young and old alike. Could Robin be a woman of color? That would make it really different.

I like some characteristics of Robyn in this story. She has a rebellious nature , a strong woman, a woman who lead and she loves adventure. Thank you for this great review.

Hi,

I read the sample and I think the book will be nice to read. I am intriqued with the men in the past being allowed to do all and being stronger contrasted with Robyn's father who is portrayed as being gentle and not very self-assertive.
I would like to read the whole book sometime. Thank you for your review as it expanded my understanding.

I love that there is a female lead! The change in era may be drastic, but there are many other classics out there that have been brought to the modern age. Such as, Romeo&Juliet. Plus, I'm already hooked on it. I need more.

"Robyn Hood Outlaw Princess" by John Reynolds.
I really enjoyed reading the sample. And I love the way story pointed out how teachers won't understand the mentality of the child. And it's really interesting how it combined Robyn Hood character into modern word .. Great reading it ?

A reflection of the huge changes in the society, with women taking on manly roles in in sports and work. A challenge of the status quo with a man play role of a mother in the absence of the busy mother. A girl with a warrior spirit.

What an amazing review, I must say. It excites me and provokes me to read this work piece of John Reynolds. This book "Robyn Hood: Outlaw Princess" also focuses on the gender inequality. Unfortunately, it is a Man's world. No matter how successful a women become, they will always be underestimated by men. I'm definitely going to read this book as soon as possible.
