A coming of age story traveling in the Olympic Peninsula with magic and native legends sounds like a great adventure. Can't wait to read this interesting story.

Doesn't sound like my type of book, but nice review. I had never realized that reviewers could listen to the audio version of books.

Based on the review, the book does sound like an interesting read. I'm with some other and have never seen an audiobook review on here. I am a little lost on what the book with entail when it comes to the girl. What is her purpose for disappearing with the artifact? It's definitely a pull to reading the story.

This sounds really good, especially with the mystical aspects of the narrative. Sarah sounds like an intriguing character, one that readers will like.

This book sounds very interesting. I love stories about mysticism and such. I read a lot of books in different genres because I like to try new things. I will hopefully get to read this book in the near future. Thank you for taking the time out to give us an honest review.

This book sounds like something I would like to read on a peaceful cloudy day. Magic realism, native mysticism, and coming of age are such intriguing topics. I'm saddened by the fact that the audible narration is monotone, as that turns me away from audio books I would have otherwise read. Thanks for the great review!

Well the first paragraph tells it all. Though I'll prefer to read.

Your review intrigues me. I find myself compelled to read this story. I would prefer to read rather than listen, just as a preference overall, and also for the reason you mentioned of the narration lacking in quality. Something about the whole familial bond, the mysterious circumstances, and what seems to be a spiritual journey into one's heritage really draws me.

Great review. I've always wondered how an audio book would be to review, it seems like it would depend a huge amount on the narrator.

Wow, I didn't know this was in audible format. The review is very well written and after reading it and the first chapter in the book, it has me hooked. Reading about families where someone they didn't even know turns up at their front door has always been a great storyline in my book. It leaves me wondering if there is someone out there related to me in a close way and I don't even know they exist.

Thanks for the review. I also enjoy audiobooks for trips or sometimes doing chores. The story sounds interesting but not this particular audiobook. Thanks for clarifying that.
