This sounds like a very interesting book. The description alone made me interested in the story, but you did an excellent job on the review. Thanks for sharing.

I wasn't aware of the audio when I read the sample. I might check that out as I have a 12 hour drive coming up. Your review got me a bit more interested, even though this isn't typically my type of book, so thanks!

Lucky you, getting to review an audiobook! I love them, but the narration can definitely make or break a story. I tried the audio version of the Black Dagger Brotherhood, but...no. The mysticism aspect sounds very interesting. Can't wait to read this book!

Great job on the review! I remember seeing this book available to review and I found the plot very interesting and unique since it deals with an unlikely pair, a 13 year old girl and an old man, who go on an adventure. The only problem was it was only available as an audio book and as you mentioned, I figured it would be hard for me to stay focused.

The audible book is for those who enjoy fiction about native legends and mysticism and is a good mid week choice. Congrats on being the BOTD. :)

I have read its sample. It is looking like a different story. I always like fiction books. Congrats to Charlie Sheldon to his @Strong Heart! I think its a nice name STRONG HEART :tiphat: . Thanks Charlie to provide us a free copy. I think its a new journey of Tom(lead character) and Sarah(Tom;s grand daughter). I will definitely complete it ASAP and thanks for your good review Marisa.

Thanks for the review. It is difficult to decide whether or not an audible book should rate different than a regular book just because of the voice over. I think you did correctly when not deducting a star because not everyone will read the audible version and would therefore rate the book based on the actual plot rather than the narrator.

I do not listen to audio books so that is not a problem, Otherwise the book does sound interesting and I will be taking a look at it. Nice review.

Thanks for your helpful review. I haven't listened to an entire audiobook before. English is not my first language and I have trouble with not seeing words on print. The sample on Amazon was a great read though. I will finish the book soon. Thanks to the author for making it free.

Even though I don't enjoy this particular genre of native mysticism, your review makes me want to give this novel a try. (I really don't do well with audiobooks) Really well-written and reflective!
