On a quiet sunny day, just like any other day on Farmer Beau's Farm, Farmer Beau's attention is drawn to 6 stray kittens. Excited and somewhat mesmerized by their arrival, Farmer Beau calls his wife, Bamma, to take a break and watch the careless playfullness of the kittens. Together, they decide to take care of them, but soon find them leaving the farm 1 by 1. Only 1 kitten is left and Farmer Beau and Bamma decide to name her Kailey.

Kailey loves her new home and often explores the area around her. One day she comes across a strange looking ball of fur. She soon realizes that this animal is different to her, but still she decides to befriend it. Sammy and Kailey embark on an adventure of friendship, trust and learns to enjoy their differences together.

Farmer Beau's Farm written by Kathleen Geiger is an inspiring tale of friendship. I love how the author is able to bring across a very important message to young and old. The story raises many questions and lessons for parents to interact with their children, or teachers to pupils. The lessons behind Farmer Beau's Farm are not limited to just one or two but, you will soon find that one answer leads to another question or lesson.

This book is absolutely amazing. Every child will benefit from reading this. The story teaches us about accepting those that are different to us, adapting to change, learning to see the good in others, facing your fears and to not judge others on their appearance, embracing differences and loving unconditionally.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. The author did an absolutely amazing job of writing a book that is packed with excitement and life lessons.

However, one question remains unanswered and, some readers might find this unsettling. What happened to the other 5 kitten? Personally, this feels like a challenge to me, to have to answer this question in a creative, non-confusing and loving way to my children. Perhaps, this is the authors way of encouraging parents to create a scenario in the book to enable interaction with their young ones? Perhaps, it's a way of opening our views that sometimes people or pets leave but, that you can still focus and be happy with those that are still with us?

I loved every minute of reading this book and I will definitely recommend it to every person out there. Regardless of age, race or religion. A big thumbs up to the author.
