My mom did this too! At times she'd read them with me and now I have memories of my mom instilling a love of books in me! I still read those books even now! Books by Enid Blyton, Roald Dahl... I'll forever cherish them!e-tasana-williams wrote:Yes! I love children's books and YA literature alike. For a long time, whenever my children were assigned books for school I would read them too. I don't always have time for that now, but I really enjoy them...many children's books are very good quality, and the illustrations are usually engaging, too.

Sometimes they can teach you things even if you're all grown up : ) I think Norton Juster's "The Phantom Tollbooth" is a great example of this in that it made me realize the importance of finding meaning and staying in the present. What children's book will I read next? I'm thinking of the Oz series. Thanks, Stephen King, for putting this in my head.

Reading children book makes me feel younger.
Well, I misses the fantasies of fairytales, magical and happy ending stories that's why I read them.
I enjoyed a lot. Im doing this when I need a little twist in my mood, children books tend to have positive and happy ending composition thats why I love them.

I mean, there are plenty of non-children books like that, but not the same feeling.
