How do you feel while cooking?

Post by Belynda White »

Hi everyone! :D

I know a few people who hate to cook and some who equally love to cook. :|

How does cooking make you feel? :D

Can you attach your emotions to cooking?
Most times, I fall flat on my face. But never do I remain on the floor; I rise again.

Cooking relaxes me. That is why I enjoy it. Cooking is one of those hate it or love it things we do. Not everyone likes it. Something that most people don't understand about cooking, it is not just about the ingredients the love and time you put it into. I don't cook if I am having a bad day, because it comes out in my food, even if it is something that I have made a hundred times. So, yes, you can attach your emotions to cooking.

It will only pleasant for me when my food looks good and attracts my parents because whenever I cook it is so pathetic so that hardly any one person in my family like that.I would love cooking in my spare time.
Thanks

I don't like the prep and cleanup like washing dishes and cutting veggies. Meat is awful cause you spend so much more time washing and making sure not to contaminate everything. So...I hate it.

I am not a fan of cooking, because I don't like when I get a complaint about it being gross. But when I do cook I do enjoy it especially when it comes out good and my kids and husband eat it and says its good.

When I cook I feel like the boss, as am in control of the food and how it tastes depends on me.

I love it when my siblings ask for more

Usually I'm just anxious to get it over with. It's not a relaxing activity for me. I just follow the recipe and hope for the best. That's how I feel while cooking
