I love reading books about new places to me, but also books about places that I've already visited. It's a way for me to remember those places with fondness and smiles.

I definitely like reading books about places I've never been. I've never left the shores of my country, but through reading, I've learned alot about other people's culture and I look forward to traveling to some of the places that have captured my interest.

I love reading books about places I've never been. The last book I read, that I felt did a rather good job of transporting to a foreign place with its words is Die Again by Tess Gerritsen.

Yes. It makes me want to visit those places that are appealing and avoid the places that are not. Also I like the knowledge I gather about those places so that if eventually I find myself there, I'll know how to behave.

Reading books of places I have never been to have always been my best learning experience. In my readings of those books, I have visited almost all parts of the world even though I have never phisycally visited the area in real life. It is always inspirational seeing phisycal locations in your mind`s eye.

I LOVE reading books about places I haven't been. If I could I would spend my life travelling but due to lack of funds that's not possible so I let the books take me there.

I would love tO read such a book especially when it talks about a place I wish to visit. It will tune me to love the place more

Yes, I do like to read about places I have never been to because it opens the door of my imagination and I love to visit these places in my mind without physically going there. Physically we may have certain restrictions, boundaries and even permits; but reading a book with a new experience is like world without boundaries......life without limitation

In my high school days, we carried out a weekly project titled "go round the world". I've virtually toured more than half the countries in the world all thanks to books. I find it even more amazing to learn of cultures, traditions and languages that are unique to a people.

I absolutely LOVE to read books about places I have never been. I almost always get a map out and look to see where in the world the places are, too! The more exotic, the better!

I also love to read books about places I have been and see how closely the author comes to what I remember about the location.

"The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova is the book that I have enjoyed the most about places I have never been. Amsterdam, Budapest, Bucharest, Turkey....I hope to see them all one day!

I always like reading books with a different setting. Depending on how good the author describes the place, I always imagine myself being there like I am part of the story. Isn't that the purpose of reading good books? It makes you travel for free.

of yes. It's exciting to read books and novels of places I have never been before. they are an eye opener and create an urge for me to make a decision to visit the place and get the actual experience.
